"It has been a long time. Long time indeed." A man walking down a dark alley said to himself. The man had a black long cloak and what looked like medieval black armor underneath. As he came to a shadow, the man slipped into it and came out of another shadow on top of a roof. The man looked out to the city as he cloak flowed in the wind. "It seems the parasite know as man has grown to this size.....very few possess the gifts of the Houses anymore. It seems they no longer fear the dark as well." The man's eyes glowed purple as his shadow split in twain. Out of his second shadow rose several Shades. As soon as they saw the man, they knelt to him. "...Master....How many we serve?..." The man smirked as he turned to them. "War....I want you to cause chaos and misery without mercy on the cattle that have grown fat. Take your fill over their souls and become powerful my shades...for this will let them know that the House of Darkness lives again." The man said, tightly gripping his metal gauntlet glove. "...For the glory of Tiamat, we will serve you, my king..." The shades disappear into the darkness as the man looked back to see the lights going out block by block. "Yes....The war against the light as begun anew." The man smirked and laughed like a madman.

Ryuugun flew over the city, contemplating destroying it, when he felt a presence he had not felt in a long time: the King of The House of Darkness was hunting.
He pinpointed a rooftop, and converted to human form, then alighted gently on the roof behind the apparent king, a man wearing a long black cloak and black armor. Ryun noticed several shades disappear out of the corner of his eye, and said "I believe you happen to be hunting on my turf, 'king'." Ryuu said, trying to sound as sarcastic as possible when he said "king".

The man turned around and see a rather annoyed looking man but he knew that power from somewhere. The man smirked. "You must be Ryuugun, the 'King' of Dragons. I see the Golden one let you out on good behavior." The man taunted back. "Don't mind me....I was spreading some terror to the parasites below." The man said with a smile.

"That shiny bastard had nothing to do with my freedom. Hell, his armor goes unused." Ryuu said. "But this is my hunting ground. These humans are my livestock, and I will cull them as I wish, without interference!" and with that, he threw a fireball at the Darkness King's face.

The man's eyes glowed purple as the fireball stopped inches from his face. The flame became purple as it flew into the Darkness King's hand. "Well....Your powers are impressive but why should we fight over a simple city when we both have common enemies in humanity?" The king smirked. "How about a partnership between kings? If you agree, I might have some interesting information for you." The king moved his hand as the fireball disappeared into embers of purple dust.

Ryuu clenched his hand, extinguishing the fireball he was about to throw, and assumed a curious look on his face. "I'm listening." Ryuu said, intrigued by the offer.

The King smiled. "Splendid. Now listen....We both want the same thing, Dragon King. We both want to destroy the parasites that took something from us. With you, it is the beloved nature that you hold dear and me.....well lets just say they are hiding something important from me. So why don't we help one another in this partnership. An alliance between the dark and dragons to destroy humanity and take our rightful place as gods of that new world." The king said passionately, looking the dragon right in the eyes. "So do you say....do we have a deal?" The king smiled evilly as he held out his hand.

"But only until we destroy every last human. Until then, you have a deal." Ryuu said, grabbing the Darkness King's hand and giving it a firm shake.

"Of course. I was planning on razing a portion of this city tonight anyway. I want the suburbs, nothing more." Ryuu said. He then stepped back, turned and ran off the roof. As he fell, he transformed into Ryuugun, and flew in his curious snaking fashion toward the suburbs.

The King waved his hand. "Take these 'suburbs' then. I have no use for them. I have everything I want right here." The King smiled as the sounds of screams and ripping flesh filled his ears through the darkness. "Can't you hear it. The beautiful sound of terror. It is breathtaking, isn't it?"

Ryuugun was too busy rapidly turning the suburbs into a sea of flame, as the stench of burning bodies and terror filled the air. This is what Ryuugun loved in destruction, the smell of the fear of a human right before he gets cooked medium-well.
